Almost 1/3 there!

Well, due to the holiday, we weren't able to take a 12 week picture but I felt like posting anyways since I feel like I've changed a lot in the past week. Feeling SO MUCH BETTER. I still have the occasional yucky tummy but I'm not gagging every time I open the refrigerator, lol. I am SO LOOKING FORWARD to finding out the sex of the baby! I have found SO MANY cute things to do with onesies that I can't contain myself!! What a cheap way to make SUPER CUTE clothes!

Turkey, Thanks and Terrrible Nausea

So tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I've been so excited for it because my nausea had been letting up but this past week it has been back in full force. Mainly in the afternoon/evening. So prayers to me for well feelings on my favorite food day of the year. Please.

I figured I wouldn't have time to blog tomorrow and that is the day I'm officially 12 weeks! I can't believe how fast time has flown! My little gummi bear is the size of a lime! Such a sweet little lime! Baby's growth spurt/the hormonal changes due to placenta taking over is supposedly what's making me sicker. So hopefully this is gone by week 14 or it could be around for the long haul :(

I am so thankful this year, and reasonably so! SO I want to share a little poem that was shared on my mom's board. It's not written by me so I can't take credit but here goes:

Lord, so often times, as any other day

When we sit down to our meal and pray

We hurry along and make fast the blessing

Thanks, amen. Now please pass the dressing

But Lord, I'd like to take just one minute more

To really give thanks for what I'm thankful for

For my family, my health, and a nice soft bed

My friends, my freedom, a roof over my head

I'm thankful right now to be surrounded by those

Whose lives touch me more than they'll possibly know

And thank you most of all, (just the thought makes us swoon),

For the new little life who is coming in June.

Thank you for reading my blog! I just want to share my excitement with everyone! Have a Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

11 week check in

Heeeeello! I'm 11 weeks today and our gummi bear is the size of a plum, or a fig, depending on the website you go to. I don't even know if those are relatively the same size?

Anyways, I'm starting to feel a little better, still queasy, can't find much I like to eat but I have more energy which is ALWAYS good.

We decorated for Christmas lastnight. I KNOW I KNOW... but I just have that much Christmas spirit. I love it. I boiled orange peels, cinnamon and pumpkin spice on the stove, mmm it was heavenly. But I realized, this is the last Christmas we'll have just the two of us. Not a sad thing at all! It's just really crazy to think next year, we will ave a sweet 6 month old baby and life WILL NOT be about us anymore. This is PROBABLY the last year we'll get each other gifts... well, gifts plural... I love giving (and admittedly, getting) so I probably won't ever quit getting things for Ron.

We decorated the tree differently this year. We went for Jolly Elf this year instead of rustic chocolate and red. I feel it suits our personalities better.

Jolly isn't it? hehehe, LOVE IT!

We're going to try and find out the sex of the baby the week before Christmas. I'll be 16 weeks by then and I've heard a lot of people say they were able to find out that week soooo, Baby Hapoff better spread it's cute little legs! I want to buy things! So bad! I finally broke down and bought some gowns.

Aren't the adorable? But yeah, I'm not really a gender neutral kinda girl so we'll wait and see what it is before we buy anything else.

On another note... I'm trying to figure out what Christmas family traditions I want to have with our little family so PLEASE share your traditions in the comment section! I would LOVE to hear them!

We're Pregnant!

Actually, only I am pregnant. My husband is pretty glad he doesn't have to go through all that. WE are expecting. There we go. For some reason it's always sounded weird to me when people say "we're pregnant". I mean I realize it takes two but... not two ovens. Anyways, that's beside the point.

We are super excited!

I am 10 weeks and 3 days along. I stole this from a fellow baby blogger cause I thought it would be fun to document the pregnancy:

How far along?
10 Weeks
Total weight gain: Lost 14 pounds, actually from morning sickness.
Maternity clothes? not yet

Stretch marks? nope
Best moment this week: getting to see baby Hapoff kick his/her little feet on the ultrasound!

Miss Anything? yes, I miss NOT having superhuman sense of smell and I miss eating delicious food that now makes me nauseated. Also, I miss energy.
Movement: not yet
Food cravings: just fruits
Anything making you queasy or sick: Too much to name. Can't cook in the house... smells really gross me out/
Gender: unknown
Labor Signs: No

Symptoms:just nausea, heightened sense of smell and no energy. And the boobs OH the boobs! How they hurt!
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Thanksgiving, I'll be 12 weeks and I'm praying for no queasiness on that day
